The front of the bodice is beautifully hand-smocked, with embroidered flowers, and decorated with tiny glass beads
The embroidery is repeated on the peter pan collar.
The back of the dress and the cuffs of the sleeves are fastened with velvet-covered buttons.
A black underskirt, trimmed with stiff net, adds fullness.
